Kevin G. Thew Forrester is a teacher of meditation, body practice, and the enneagram, working with students to awaken to the truth of being holy mystery ceaselessly unfolding. He is a student and colleague of Senior Buddhist Teacher, Stephen Snyder (having received Jukai from Shoken Winecoff of Ryumonji Soto Zen Buddhist Temple in May, 2004); an authorized Instructor of Diamond Body Practice; and a certified teacher of the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition. As an Episcopal Priest for almost 30 years, he has helped found the Healing Arts Centers at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Parish in Portland, Oregon and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Marquette, Michigan. He is the author of Beyond My Wants, Beyond My Fears: The Soul’s Journey into the Heartland, as well as four previous books, including I Have Called You Friends, Holding Beauty in My Soul’s Arms, and My Heart is a Raging Volcano of Love for You. Kevin is also a contributing essayist for Progressing Spirit.
Kevin holds three advanced degrees in theology: an MA, an MTS, and a Ph.D.
He lives with his wife, Rïse, an Episcopal Priest and Chaplain, in Beaverton, Oregon.
